Worklink has been active in coaching, career development and transition since its foundation in November 2000.
As a subsidiary of Swisscom, Worklink has gone through an impressive transformation since then.
Initially, its activities were limited to supporting people who lost their jobs in the course of Swisscom's privatisation process. To this day, the implementation of these so-called social plan measures at Swisscom remains one of Worklink's core tasks. Over time, Worklink added services to its portfolio that strengthen employees in their career paths and empower them to take responsibility for their own professional development. With career advice and counselling, coaching services were offered for the first time that did not deal with job loss and transition, but rather with the opportunity to develop "on the job" or simply to address one's own opportunities, needs and desires. The focus was always on career development, with the motto: "Be ready, discover your opportunities, create your future!" Worklink's coaches are all professionals: they have completed relevant training or further education and are familiar with the latest tools and methods, as well as the job market, the educational landscape and the challenges of the professional world. This enables them to provide their coachees with individualised and tailored support.
A reorientation in 2023 brought a fresh design, a revamp of the entire image and a vision: "Together we inspire people for their tomorrow's career world."
Whereas previously orders came exclusively from the parent company Swisscom, from 2024 onwards Worklink was also allowed to support employees of other companies on behalf of "career fitness".
The 25th anniversary in 2025 marked the preliminary highlight of the success story.
Worklink provides coaching in German, French, Italian and English at four locations in Switzerland and, of course, online.
